BREAKING: Top PDP Governor Dumps Party For APC 

Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Enugu State are in high spirits following confirmation that the state governor, Dr. Peter Mbah, will officially defect to the ruling party.

According to the APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, Governor Mbah will formally join the APC alongside his aides and loyalists on Tuesday next week. The grand event is scheduled to hold in Enugu, the Coal City State.

Reacting to the development, a prominent APC chieftain in the state, Barrister John Diara, described the governor’s defection as “a welcome development”, adding that Mbah’s entry into the party marks a new dawn for Enugu politics.

He emphasized that the governor’s move would strengthen the APC’s political base in the state and position it for victory in future elections.

“Governor Mbah’s entrance into our great party is the best thing that could happen to Enugu State at this time. It will surely reposition the APC for future electoral success,” Diara stated.
