A Father–Son Symbol of Honour at Oronna Festival 2025
The Southwest Commissioner of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Senator Lekan Mustapha, graced the 2025 Oronna Festival in grand style, alongside Oyeleke Folajuwon Oluwole, the Senior Special Assistant on Security (Security Trust Fund) to the Ogun State Governor, as they joined the good people of Ilaro for the colourful celebration.

Their arrival, accompanied by a committed team, added prestige and vibrancy to the age-long cultural festival. With numerous dignitaries from across the nation in attendance, the atmosphere radiated unity, honour, and cultural pride. Senator Mustapha and Oyeleke Folajuwon moved through the festival grounds with warmth and humility, reflecting a bond that mirrors a father-and-son relationship — rooted in leadership, guidance, loyalty, and shared dedication to community development.

The 2025 edition of the Oronna Festival once again highlighted the rich heritage and resilient spirit of the people of Ilaro. The distinguished presence of these leaders further enriched the celebration as they joined the community in honouring tradition, promoting unity, and strengthening cultural identity.
